Bai Hu Tang helps constant hunger (diabetes syndrome). Symptoms may include profuse sweating, great thirst, high fever, acute infection (encephalitis, meningitis, pneumonia, etc), irritability; tongue: red with dry-yellow or dry-maroon fur; pulse: floating-forceful-slippery-rapid or floating-forceful-rapid-overflowing.
This herbal calms thirst, clears Heat from Qi level, eliminates Heat and Fire from Stomach, promotes generation of body fluids.
Preparation: Prepare fresh daily for 2 days : In stainless or ceramic pan, add 3 cups water and 2 packs herbs. Bring to boil, reduce heat, then simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, cool slightly, then gently squeeze juice from herb packs. Pour decoction into glass or ceramic container with a lid. Drink half in morning and remainder in evening.
